2. While most cats have near-sightedness and can only focus on objects at least one foot away, they have excellent night vision. Cats’ eyes contain a high density of rod cells and a reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum, which enhances their night vision by amplifying low light(Merck Veterinary Manual).         10. Cats can be left-handed or right-handed, too. It depends on which paw they move first when moving or rushing towards a toy. Mostly female cats move their right paw first, and male cats move their left paw first.
